How do I apply for services through OPWDD? Can I receive these services immediately if I am eligible?

Contact Shelli Prespare-Weston or Carol Basford at 315-386-1156 in St. Lawrence County, Walt Russell at walt@cpnorthcountry.com or 518-643-0188 in Clinton/Essex County, Norm Wayte at norm@cpnorthcountry.com or 315-786-0983 in Jefferson County, and Gail Kelly at gail@cpnorthcountry.com or 518-483-0109 in Franklin County, or ask your child’s physician to make a referral to our agency.  We will set up an interview with you and obtain the necessary information needed to submit an eligibility packet to Sunmount DDSO (Developmental Disabilities Service Office).  They determine if a person is eligible for the OMRDD services.

 

On many occasions, there are waiting lists for certain services, due to the great need for them.  We do our very best to answer requests in a timely manner.
