Individualized Support Services

One time and ongoing funds can be available for individuals living alone, perhaps for the first time, and need additional resources to afford safe and decent housing. Funds can be used to purchase new or used items to set up a household or to pay toward the rent. To be a candidate for this service, you should:
-Be 21 years of age or older
-Be considered eligible through OPWDD. Some qualifying disabilities which occur before age 22 are mental retardation, cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorders, seizure disorders, and traumatic brain injury.
